Lazyboy Recliner Repair Videos from Youtube

Has your Lazyboy been acting up recently? Well, even a high-quality item can’t last forever. If you aren’t ready to say goodbye to your lovely recliner, there’s no need to worry – you can repair it! Here are some interesting and useful videos which show you how to repair, remove or install a certain part of your Lazyboy recliner.

Recliner Mechanism Overview
In this video, a professional furniture repairman teaches you about recliners and their motion mechanism. He says: “It’s what’s inside that counts”,and he is absolutely right. The superior mechanisms in Lazyboy recliners are what makes them special. To see how it all works, flip the recliner over and remove the cover. The backs are removable and you can doing using the metal clips and pulling it out. The recliner has a 4-sided steel construction and sinuous springs, which are also shown in the video.

How To Replace The Lift Handle on a La-Z-Boy Recliner or Motion Sofa

In this video, you can see and learn how to replace the lift handle on your recliner. If your handle is broken, or you simply want to put on a different one, the procedure is simple and straightforward. You need to use a screwdriver. Tilt the recliner forward and unscrew the handle – it should have a screw in the back. Now just simply replace the handle, tighten the screw back in, and put the recliner back in its place. It’s as simple as that! (You can buy lift handle here.)

La-z-boy Manual Recliner Assembly Instructions

In this video, you will see how Lazyboy recliners are designed to be easily assembled. The back of the chair just needs to be locked into position, and this video slowly and simply explains how this is done. Just line up the brackets on the back of the recliner with the brackets on the base, and then lower the back onto the base, keeping it levelled. Slide it into position, and use a screwdriver to push the levers into place.

How To Install and Remove The Recliner Back

Another useful video by Lazyboy, this one shows you how to install and remove the back of the recliner. This is extremely useful when you wish to move the recliner, and the back just makes it to bulky to move. When the back is removed, most recliners can even fit into a car. You can do this by simply tilting the recliner, pulling the locking levers up, and pulling the back upwards. To reinstall the back, just repeat the procedure backwards, as shown in the video.

I just bought a used Lazy Boy made or bought in 2000. the cord to plug in the heater & vibration feature is missing but it looks like the wiring is OK. The back is somehow locked on the right side so that it will not come up to a full upright position. It does not look like it is worn or broken, in excellent condition, both in upholstery & mechanically. Can it be fixed?

I need to replace the seat cushions on my Reclining sofa. The sofa is 3 years old and the poor quality cushions were replaced 3 times in a year. We were then told they would not replace the cushions ( that were breaking down within a few months) any more. I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to remove the seats. Can you help.?

my rocker-recliner, built in 2006, does not stop in the rachet middle way. It is either too low or too high for a comfortable position. In other words, the locking does not work in all position.
